A drop of summer dew still hangs
a glowing, pregnant orb, about to fall
Encouragement that stayed as sweet
was clinging to the stone ceiling there
Alone in dark and labyrinthine depths
so cold and empty otherwise.
There lies the brooding mist, a wind of cruelty
the fabrications and ramblings inside
a mind, so drained of faith and tried.
but when this dew did fall
on arid choked and thirsty ground
at first arose a scent
and this aroma, lovely, stayed.
at last comes strength
with promise and with guarantee…
